As part of a group of companies that comprise one of Dorsets largest licensed taxi and private hire companies we offer a complete range of passenger car services to individuals, groups and corporate customers. In addition, we provide courier service solutions and have a reputation for delivering excellent customer service. 

Driven by a team of ambitious personnel, we are currently expanding and are looking for like-minded professionals to join our organisation.

Working at our offices in Dorchester, we are currently recruiting telephonists to provide a first point of contact service to our customers and drivers.


Main Duties:

• Handling inbound calls and processing bookings, reservations and enquiries

• Building relationships with new and existing customers and corporate clients

• Managing travel and journey issues on behalf of our customers via real time in-house tracking systems and applications

• Case creation for customer complaints

• Achieve and maintain all performance, productivity and quality targets set.


Essential requirements:

• Good command of the English language

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Computer literate with good keyboard skills

• Call centre and/or customer service experience

• Willingness & ability to learn & work long (often unsociable) shifts

• Resident within reasonable access to our main office


Advantages would include:

• Private Hire or similar travel booking experience

• Customer service qualification

• Working Knowledge of Cordic software or similar dispatch systems

• Topographical knowledge of Dorset
